Having grown up living in and out of the Adelaide Hills, Zoe has always had a love for animals and the area. At the age of 7 she decided she wanted to be a Veterinarian and worked consistently through school to reach this goal. Graduating from JCU in 2017, Zoe soon found herself travelling to and working in the UK for a clinic caring for all animals from exotic pets to farm animals and all the pets in between. She spent a year in Emergency Medicine for a local clinic while working as a locum in General Practice which cemented what she knew. Her love of being involved in the day to day care of animals was where she enjoyed herself most. She returned to Australia in 2022 and spent time travelling around Australia as a Locum Vet utilising the skills she obtained before returning home to the Adelaide Hills. Now she is back and focused on being able to deliver the best possible care for animals in the community.

In her spare time Zoe enjoys spending time with her Border Collie, Jasper, cuddling with her two cats, a Burmese called Savannah and a DLH she raised from 2 weeks old, Spice and riding her 16.2hh ex-race horse, E.T.

Office Manager

Joanna joins the Vet In The Hills team as the Office Manager. You’ll always see Joanna with a smile on her face.

Joanna is very pleased to be working in Woodside with an added bonus of being just a few steps away from her favourite coffee shop!

In her spare time, Joanna enjoys looking after her Murray Grey cows on her farm in the Hills and spoiling her grandchildren.

Head Veterinary Nurse

Kylie joins the Vet In The Hills team as our Head Veterinary Nurse.

Kylie did have a break from Vet Clinics and during her time away, Kylie spent valuable time with her 3 children and her husband in the Adelaide Hills. She is always adding to her ever ending “zoo”! Currently she has 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs a horse and a pony!

Kylie loves seeing and caring for the variety of animals within the clinic but has a particular interest in big dog breeds. She loves meeting new clients and getting to know them and their pets.

Receptionist

Lanie joins the Vet In The Hills Team as one of our receptionists.

Lainie feels like she has a lot of animals The love of her life dog “Duke” a 13 year old Staffie, “Dixie” the cat and 4 Arabian Horses; Turbo, Apollo, Fraser and Cruise.

In her spare time she competes in Endurance Horse Riding which she does all over Australia.

Lainie looks forward to meeting you and your pet.

Veterinary Nurse

We’re very excited for Sam to join our team as a qualified Senior Veterinary Nurse who has been in the industry for over 10 years.

She takes great pride in making sure our patients feel safe and comfortable whilst in our care. She enjoys all aspects of nursing but particularly enjoys surgical nursing.

Outside of work Sam enjoys farm life with her husband and two children. She enjoys gardening and staying active.

Her animal family includes cows, chickens, ducks, 2 cats, a parrot and their beloved dog Pludo.

Junior Veterinary Nurse

Lucy is our Junior Veterinary Nurse with a special interest in Animal Behaviour. She will be starting her Veterinary Nursing course this year and is the member of our team who is running Puppy Pre School.

During her spare time, Lucy likes spending time with her dog Dolly, her horse, and convincing her parents that she needs a ginger cat!
